Saturday of Service is a day where all of the Soroptimist from the USA gather in their home towns and show their support for the community. We gather to work service projects that improve the lives of women and girls.
SIAtwater has chosen to work together with Castle Family Health Centers and provide services though a Health Fair. Many health service are offered at the health fair, which is held on the 1st Saturday of March. Such services include hearing tests, cancer screenings, vision tests, blood pressure tests, diabetes screenings. There are also tons of edcuational materials and vendors availabe as well.
Some of the educational material covers Domestic Abuse, Teen Pregnancies, Diabetes, Cancer, Pap screenings and much more.
We have served more than 500 people at this event each year and we are proud to be able to make a difference for the community of Atwater.
